Well, one thing is certain: we can't say that we don't know about the event and the SJP ad! The video and its analysis is everywhere!! Most of the comments no matter whether a celeb news site or political news site, are quite negative ranging from Parker's looks to celebrity involvement in politics yet again. Why? As boundaries move (i.e. sitting U.S. presidents on programs like "The View") look for people to continue to hotly debate what is and isn't appropriate, particularly in strained economic times. Is it ok for very wealthy people to ask younger constituents for donations while their unemployment rate is so high? Can a celebrity be vocal in his/her political views without being called uninformed? (both seemingly behind a large part of the negative comments we found) As the new era unfolds, surely we will all continue to debate such points; but GlassLDC editors say, we still probably wouldn't turn down an invite here just to see what's up! You know where to reach us, Guys.

Actress Sarah Jessica Parker plans to host dinner at her home as fundraiser for Obama. Complete with Vogue's Anna Wintour as host, the event is getting top billing. Parker records a video ( which aired during yesterday's MTV Movie Awards) encouraging people to donate and enter-to-win two seats at the dinner. Some jump at the chance, while others are less than mesmerized.

What Others Are Saying...

Sorry but Hollywood does cheapen the President and his campaign. Winning a contest to have dinner with the President is laughable...
