He has not say, why but here's a hint: Snoop Lion visited a temple in Jamaica where he was given the name ‘Snoop Lions’ representing the Lion of Judah which is the key religion symbol of Rastafarian. The rapper said he felt like he has always been part of Rastafarian, which is a famous Jamaican spiritual movement. Snoop Lion said he would focus on creating reggae music under new name.
