Forecast for the 2012 presidential election?  Maybe, maybe not.  But the real take away here is not so much the outcome but how the will of so many individuals lead to a recall in the first place.  The issues don't seem to be finished, and now we'll have to watch and see how almost half the state of Wisconsin reacts to having lost. Never underestimate. The beat goes on....

Scott Walker wins the recall election in Wisconsin, making him the first governor to do so in U.S. history.. Last year, Walker put an end to collective-bargaining rights for most state workers.  This lead to large protests, and a divisive situation in the state. However Walker beat Milwaukee Mayor Barrett, 54 percent to 45 percent. Many say this is only the beginning. And perhaps, the comments show just that.

The "Hope and Change" has begun with Gov. Walker's victory last night…

…that’s what elections are for. Officials are elected by a majority who support their policies… If there is a recall election every time there is a policy disagreement, it will be impossible to govern and will lead to further polarization of the political process. If the electorate doesn't agree with a politician’s policy, then the electorate should vote them out of office at the next election. Recalls should be reserved for extreme circumstances, not to express petulant reactions.

Fitting that a study was released not long ago that say that political affiliation is supposedly more polarizing now that race, gender or anything else one might muster up.  Is there any wonder that there is now a record number of Independents?  People are very much divided and very much heated between who actually is ruling whom and what is proper approach.  Short on reason, long on mud?  Only time will tell as polls close.  But is it any wonder that when money is so very much a part of the mix these days - who has it, who doesn't - that people begin to claw.  Are we being manipulated to do as such? If so, what's the way outta here?

Wisconsin is in the midst of deciding whether to recall Republican Govenor Scott Brown over his proposed policies.  Democrat challenger Tom Barrett has been quite vocal on the subject, to say the least.  This is only the third time in U.S. history that there has been recall election of a govenor.  This race has the attention of the entire country as it is said to forecast the upcoming 2012 presidential election given that the state is so vastly divided on how it should be run.  Recall buzz words include union, jobs, money. Stakes are high, and people are, well...extreme in their thoughts.

What Others Are Saying...

These elections will mean the choice between America moving forward, of fixing our infrastructure or letting everything around us crumble to dust, jobs gone overseas, men being overlords over their wives and doling out beatings without fear of prosecution, women being baby machines ... everything the Republicans represent is ANTI this and ANTI that. They aren't FOR anything but tax cuts and money for themselves. Walker was outed in a video for his "divide and conquer" statement. That's the goal of the Republican party....

Walker is running scared and knows he needs every penny from his billionaires Koch Brothers as well as the millionaires from outside the State of Wisconsin that he can get his hands-on for his recall election to try survive! THE INCONVENIENT TRUTH is that his dishonesty and lack of integrity regarding his War on the Middle Class policies by creating less economic growth and more unemployment, putting his budget of spending out of balance and cutting children’s public education has caught up to him....

Gee a balanced budget, no increase in taxes, and public unions paying a tiny part of their own benefits, jobs being created, under 7% UE.. I would vote for Walker. What's not to like?BTW.. the whole nation saw the union THUGS throwing a tantrum in WI. What's to like about them.
