Apple, Facebook Combine Forces

It's all about the greater reach; the race to be even bigger, even more omnipresent when it comes to technology.  The only thing is, are the tech companies listening to what the people really want.  It's about bottom up and inside out rather than the corporation dictating, these days.  So let's see.  Further, many of the "gurus" (i.e. Gladwell) of the 20th Century haven't gotten the memo that the new thinkers aren't really checking for their style of philosophy and approach anymore.  Yawn. We declared the death of the "tipping point", anyway. Watch for new faces to replace the old and sneak up from no where!

Apple's  annual Worldwide Developers Conference yielded much news but one of the major announcement involved the integration of Facebook  into iPhone, iPad software as well as the latest MacOS Mountain Lion. Users are said to be able to interact Facebook in a seamless way.  Not everyone seems to be excited, and are concerned that this is just one indication that the company is changing after the passing of Steve Jobs.  In fact, author and provocateur Malcolm Gladwell just said at a recent conference that in 50 years, we will forget Jobs due to the fact that he is not noted as more of a social-entrepreneur such as Bill Gates.  Let the comments begin.

What Others Are Saying...

Apple does not believe that when I buy a device I'm not buying a life. They sold me a tool; they don't get to take away my choices..... Just cause Jobs died is no reason to say Apple can behave against consumer choice.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO anything but FB...

Successful entrepreneurs like Gates or Jobs are single-my focused on creating products that people want to pay for... Gladwell will be forgotten in 20 years.
